About us

​The Grandparents and Care Givers whom are raising their family members children due to displacements/absent parent or parents for various reasons.

Some of the biological parents are incarcerated, drug abusers,  lost to the system, or have a serious illness. The children are brought to the grandparents homes with little to no warning. They come only with the clothes on their back, no diapers, formula, monetary, or important documents such as birth certificates, immunization, or letters of release to the grandparent or care giver.

These limited factors from the very beginning puts an undue stress on the receiver.

Lack of funds to support additional family members
Lack of space in home, i.e. bedrooms, furniture, bedding
Lack of clothing for growing children
Limited family outings due to funds or finances. 
Lack of sufficient transportation to transport child(s) to school, doctor, dental appointments, therapy, outings etc.
A single Father who did not take care of his own children, now has to support grandchildren and has no or very little knowledge of how or where to seek help or what to do.

WE ARE ASKING TO HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS GRANTED TO US AS IS GIVEN TO FOSTER PARENTS WHO ARE CARING FOR CHILDREN
WITHIN THE SYSTEM JUST LIKE OURS! 
WE ARE ASKING FOR FAVOR WITH HOUSING AS NEEDED.
WE ARE ASKING FOR MONETARY SUPPORT.
WE ARE ASKING FOR COMPLETE MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE
WE ARE ASKING FOR TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE THROUGH BUS PASSES FOR OUR TEEN YOUTH.
WE ARE ASKING FOR IMMEDIATE RESPITE CARE
WE ARE ASKING FOR ACTIVITY PASSES FOR OUR CHILDREN SUCH AS PRIORITY YMCA MEMBERSHIP ETC.
WE ARE ASKING FOR GOVERNMENT HELP AND SUPPORT.
WE WANT TO THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR HEARING OUR CRY OF CONCERNS AND NEEDS.
